The Wedge was designed in the United States and ships from the United States. Our foam is proudly made and cut in the USA, while our fabric and Waterproof Liners are made and sewn in China.

Acute Baby Co. takes the upmost care and consideration in choosing materials that are certified to be safe for use with babies. The Wedge is made with CertiPUR-US® certified foam, and the Wedge cover is made with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified yarns.

The fabric used for The Wedge cover is made with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified yarns, which have been tested for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® criteria.

CertiPUR-US® certification means the flexible polyurethane foam has been independently tested and certified to meet specific standards for content, emissions, and durability.

No! Some yellowing can naturally occur as foam ages and is exposed to light and air. This color change does not necessarily mean the foam has gone bad or affect its performance. Always follow the included care instructions and discontinue use if the foam shows signs of damage or deterioration.

Yes! The removable cover is washable because, well...spit up happens. We also offer spare covers and waterproof liners to make cleanup a little easier and to make sure you always have your support ready to go.

Yes! Spare covers are available separately, so you can keep one in use and one in the wash. We recommend always having a backup for when life's little messes happen!

Once complete, Acute Baby Co. will issue the required Children's Product Certificate based on applicable testing and certification requirements.

Yes! The Wedge was created by Acute Baby Co. founder and mom of two, Wendy Barbalinardo, after experiencing firsthand how physically challenging breastfeeding can be. What started as a search for a solution for her own feeding struggles, became a mission to create better breastfeeding support for other moms, too.
